London, United Kingdom (uk.gov.krd) – The Kurdistan Region’s dedication to expanding the quality of its education system was illustrated by the official attendance of senior ministers at the recent World Education Forum in London along with representatives from over 125 countries.
H.E Dr. Aram Muhamad Qadir Amin, Minister of Higher Education & Scientific Research, and H.E Alan Hama Saaid, Minister of Education, were warmly welcomed by Karwan Jamal Tahir, the KRG’s High Representative to the UK.
Mr. Tahir briefed the ministerial delegation about the mission’s aims in the UK and the benefits for Kurdistan of educational cooperation with UK bodies. He promised that the Representation would steadfastly seek strong collaboration with UK education departments, NGOs, and agencies.
The ministers praised their meetings with UK officials and educational organisations and said that “the forum was very useful for strengthening bilateral relations with educational sectors and other relevant organisations and exploring opportunities for collaboration”.
Both ministers appreciated the Representation’s efforts in building educational bridges between the Kurdistan Region and the United Kingdom
