Head of DFR Addresses Middle East Tensions and Regional Issues at Chatham House Event

his visit to the United Kingdom, Minister Safeen Muhsin Dizayee, Head of the
Kurdistan Regional Government’s Department for Foreign Relations, delivered a
presentation at a Chatham House event attended by political analysts,
international relations students, government officials, journalists, and civil
society representatives.
In his remarks, Minister Dizayee addressed the current fragile situation in
the Middle East and outlined the objectives of his visit to London. The session
concluded with a moderated Q&A, during which participants raised questions
on a range of issues, including relations between the Kurdistan Region and
Iraq’s federal government, developments in Syria, and the role of Kurdish
actors amid wider tensions involving the United States and Iran.
