Safeen Mohsin Dizayee visits KRG UK Office

London, United Kingdom, www.uk.gov.krd. Karwan Jamal Tahir, KRG High Representative to the United Kingdom, along with the KRG UK team,  welcomed Minister Safin Mohsin Dizayee, Head of the KRG’s Department for Foreign Relations to discuss strengthening ties between the UK and the Kurdistan Region.

During the meeting, Mr Tahir underscored the importance of deepening bilateral relations and highlighted the Representation’s ongoing efforts to support further political, cultural, and institutional development. Discussions also focused on the role and responsibilities of the KRG’s UK delegation, with both sides emphasising the need for continued coordination.

Minister Dizayee commended KRG UK team for their work in expanding the Kurdistan Region’s engagement with the United Kingdom. He praised their efforts in conveying the KRG’s messages abroad and in building support for the region on the international stage.

Meanwhile, he acknowledged the delegation’s role in promoting and preserving Kurdish cultural heritage, as well as its support for cultural, intellectual, and educational initiatives. Both sides noted the importance of sustaining and strengthening collaboration with such organisations moving forward.
