KRG Representation Attends BMI Global Scholarship Forum in London

United Kingdom, London, www.uk.gov.krd. The Kurdistan Regional Government’s
representation in the UK accompanied a delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education
& Scientific Research (MoHESR) led by Dr. Yassen Hama, General Director of
Scholarship and Cultural Relations, to participate in the BMI Global
Scholarship Forum 2024 held in London.
The event convened representatives
from various government ministries, corporations, and higher education
institutions globally, offering a unique networking opportunity to link leaders
of the largest scholarship programs worldwide.
The platform fosters international
partnerships and promotes educational opportunities. It has also facilitated
robust discussions on enhancing access to quality education globally.
During the forum, Dr. Yassen engaged with numerous international
institutions to explore scholarship opportunities to enhance educational ties
and benefit students in the Kurdistan Region who desire to pursue higher
education in the UK.
KRG Representation underscores the need to facilitate the links
between the ministry and interested parties in the UK for further collaboration
and partnership initiatives.
