KRG High Representative expresses his condolences to the people and government of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Representative the United Kingdom visited the Embassy
of the Islamic Republic of Iran and was warmly welcomed by Sayed Mahdi Husseini
Matin the chargé d'affaires of the embassy.
KRG High Representative conveyed his respect and the KRG’s condolences to
the Embassy of Iran and through them to the people and government of the
Islamic Republic for the terrorist attack in Kerman on January 3, 2024, which resulted
in a large number of civilian casualties. At the same time, he wrote a
tribute to the victims in the condolence book at the embassy.
During the meeting, the latest developments and events in the Middle
East and the bilateral relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Islamic
Republic of Iran were discussed. Both sides stressed the importance of
continued strong cooperation between the Kurdistan Regional Government representation
and the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Sayed Mahdi Husseini Matin thanked the High Representative of the
Kurdistan Regional Government for the pay respect and condolences to the
victims of the disaster in Kerman.
