KRG High Representative in the UK visited the Peshmerga Committee

Karwan Jamal Tahir, Kurdistan Regional Government High Representative in the UK visited the Peshmerga Committee in the Kurdistan Parliament.

At the meeting, both sides discussed British assistance to the Peshmerga forces and the reform steps of the Kurdistan Regional Government.
The Peshmerga Committee pointed out the importance of continuing the assistance of the coalition forces to the Peshmerga forces, especially the UK, which has provided a lot of support during the fight against ISIS.

Mr Tahir briefed the committee on the relations between the UK and the Kurdistan Region in the areas of defense and military cooperation and said that the Kurdistan Regional Government Representation is happy to coordinate and assist in any way possible. He also stressed the importance of coordination and cooperation between the relevant parliament committees of both Kurdistan and the UK.
