A high delegation from Kurdistan Regional Government visited KRG Representation to the UK

Representative, received a high delegation from the Kurdistan Regional
Government, headed by Dr. Pshtiwan Sadiq, Minister of Endowment and Religious
Affairs, accompanied by Ano Jawhar Abdulmaseeh Abdoka, Minister of Transport and
Communications which were in the UK on an official visit to participate in the
International Ministerial Conference on Freedom of Religion or Belief 2022.
Discussions centred on the latest
developments in Iraq and the development of relations between the Kurdistan
Region and the UK. The delegation recognised the KRG UK’s continuous efforts to
strengthen bilateral relations between the Kurdistan Region and the UK.
Mr Tahir emphasised the importance of
the KRG's participation in such important conferences as they are good
opportunities to introduce the efforts of the KRG's strategic measures on
maintaining freedom of religion or belief in the Kurdistan Region and achieving
the international community’s support in preventing threats that face religious
minorities in the region.
