KRG High Representative to the UK received Yazidi representatives

High Representative Karwan Jamal Tahir received Yazidi representatives’ delegation from the Kurdistan Region, which consisted of Dr Mamou Othman, former Iraqi State Minister, current Vice-Dean in the Institute of Psychology & Psychtraumatology at the University of Duhok and Dr Nezar Ismet, Former Director General at the KRG Ministry of Health and founding member of the Open Think Tank (OTT).
At the meeting, they discussed the current situation in Sinjar and the plight of the Yazidis and the significant importance of ways to expedite the implementation of the Yezidi survivors’ law.
They also discussed the importance of finding a mechanism to normalise the current political situation in Sinjar.
