Karwan Jamal Taher met with Major-General Duncan Francis and attended the graduation of commissioning cadets

London, United Kingdom (uk.gov.krd), Karwan Jamal Tahir, KRG High Representative to the UK, joined diplomats from over 40 countries, the academy’s senior officers and the officer cadets families, to witness the Sovereign’s Commissioning Parade at The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, where he was pleased to meet the Sandhurst Commandant Major General Duncan Capps CBE.

In a brief meeting, High Representative convey the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Ministery of Peshmerga’s appreciation and gratitude to Commandant Major General and the academy for the outstanding achievements that the Officer Cadet from Kurdistan Region has acquired.

The Sovereign’s Commissioning Parade marks the completion of Officer Cadet Training. The KRG High Representative was proud to witness Officer Cadet Lilo K Majeed, from Kurdistan Region, receiving the King Hussein Award – awarded to the most improved International Cadet.
