KRG High Representative Receives Award-Winning Kurdish Innovator in London

London, UK. www.uk.gov.krd – The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) High Representative to the United Kingdom, Mr. Karwan Jamal Tahir, received Ms. Hazha Hassan, a talented young innovator from Qaladze, Kurdistan Region, who was recently awarded the  WiN Global 2025 prize in London for her remarkable achievement in sustainable innovation.

Ms. Hassan has developed an innovative method that transforms poultry manure waste into high-quality organic fertilisers, including liquid biochar and vermicast organic products. Her invention contributes to sustainable agriculture and farming, while also supporting environmental protection and climate resilience.

During the meeting, Mr. Tahir congratulated Ms. Hassan on her success and praised her determination, creativity, and contribution to advancing green solutions in the Kurdistan Region.

The KRG Representation also expressed its appreciation to the SEED Foundation for sponsoring Ms. Hassan’s participation and for its continued efforts to empower women and support their advancement across the Kurdistan Region.
