KRG High Representative Meets Kurdistan High Council for Medical Specialties Delegation

London, United Kingdom, www.uk.gov.krd. KRG High Representative to the United Kingdom, Karwan Jamal Tahir, received P.D. Ariana Khalis Jawad, President of the Kurdistan High Council for Medical Specialties, along with members of the Council’s Board of Directors.

During the meeting, the delegation shed light on the Council’s ongoing activities, strategic objectives, and future plans, particularly their efforts to strengthen international cooperation, with a special focus on partnerships in the United Kingdom.

The delegation highlighted that one of their key goals is to build strong communication bridges with international medical and scientific institutions to exchange expertise, develop joint programs, and establish formal agreements. Through these collaborations, they aim to enhance the quality of medical training and deliver advanced specialisation programs for students and professionals in the Kurdistan Region.

Mr. Tahir reaffirmed the Kurdistan Regional Government representation’s full support for such initiatives, underscoring the importance of global engagement and knowledge exchange. He encouraged the Council to coordinate closely with the KRG Representation in the UK to identify potential partners and develop new channels of cooperation with relevant British institutions that align with the Council’s mission.
