High Representative attends the launch of an exhibition on genocide

KRG UK High Representative Karwan Jamal Tahir was moved to attend the launch event of an exhibition at the Royal Holloway Weiner Library that explores the stories of Armenian and Yezidi women held in genocidal captivity.

The High Representative was pleased to meet with representatives from the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), the Ernest Hecht Charitable Foundation for the Holocaust and Genocide Research Partnership and many others, where he had to opportunity to discuss the KRG’s unprecedented efforts in rescuing Yazidis and bringing them home – and how there is still much to do.
