KRG High Representative Receives Zhyar Organisation

London, United Kingdom. www.uk.gov.krd – Karwan Jamal Tahir, the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) High Representative to the United Kingdom, received Professor Khalid Mohammed, President of the Zhyar Organisation for Education and Human Development, along with Jabar Dokani, President of the organisation’s UK branch.

During the meeting, Professor Khalid Mohammed presented an overview of the organisation’s work and objectives, emphasising the importance of continued coordination with the KRG Representation in the UK.

Mr. Tahir warmly welcomed the delegation and highlighted the vital role that Kurdish organisations in the UK play in promoting Kurdish culture, identity, and the interests of the Kurdish diaspora. He reaffirmed the Representation’s readiness to collaborate with the Zhyar Organisation and other Kurdish community organisations to convey the plight of the Kurdish people and introduce them to other communities in the UK, while preserving the culture and language of Kurds living in the UK.

The meeting concluded with a commitment to further coordination and collaboration in the future.
