Safeen Dizayee meets with Principal of the International Academy of the FCDO

United Kingdom, London, Department of Foreign Affairs, www.uk.gov.krd. H.E. Safeen Dizayee, Head of the Department of Foreign Relations in the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), met with Dominic Schroeder, Principal of the International Academy of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

In the meeting, which was attended by Karwan Jamal Tahir, the Kurdistan Regional Government's High Representative to the UK, Mr. Dizayee presented a summary of the office and its role in the development of international relations with the rest of the world. He expressed his willingness for future collaboration between the Academy and the KRG to transfer experience with the International Academy to further develop the diplomatic expertise and skills of the Kurdistan Regional Government cadres.

Mr. Schroeder briefed the delegation on the International Academy, how to develop diplomatic skills within their ministries and diplomatic representatives around the world. He also stressed continued coordination between the UK and KRI in the future.
