KRG High Representative Attends Screening of Manhol

London, United Kingdom, www.uk.gov.krd. Karwan Jamal Tahir, the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) High Representative to the United Kingdom, attended the screening of the Kurdish film Manhol, which was attended by members of the Kurdish diaspora and friends of Kurdish art and culture.

The film explores a range of social and humanitarian themes, including love, sacrifice, resilience, gender equality, social injustice, and the challenges faced by ordinary citizens. Through its storyline, Manhol offers thought-provoking messages and presents issues that resonate with different segments of society.

On the occasion, Mr. Jamal Tahir congratulated the writer and director of the film, Diako Bayiz, for his creative work and praised the outstanding performance of renowned Kurdish actor Rzgar Bahir, who attended the screening as a special guest.

The KRG High Representative also expressed his appreciation to the organisers for hosting the event and providing an opportunity for members of the Kurdish diaspora in the United Kingdom to engage with and celebrate Kurdish cinema and culture.
