High Representative Karwan Jamal Tahir meets new APPG chair on Kurdistan Region

High Representative to the UK, Mr Karwan Jamal Tahir, met with Jack Lopresti MP
to discuss current issues in Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and furthering the
bilateral relations between UK/KRI.
Mr Lopresti has recently been elected as the Chairman of the APPG for Kurdistan
Region and the High Representative was keen to congratulate him.
Mr Tahir said, ‘I look forward to further strengthening the ties of cooperation
and friendship between our two nations.’
Mr Lopresti has visited Kurdistan several times and we hope to organise a
cross-party trip again soon.
